                 报告人：David Berman is the Professor and Head of the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine at

                                                 Queen’s University and the Editor-in-Chief of Laboratory Investigation. He   practices urologic surgical

                                                 pathology at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre   in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. His research laboratory

                                                 focuses on basic,   translational, and clinical aspects of prostate and bladder cancer. This research   helped

                                                 establish embryonic signaling pathways as important drivers of cancer   progression and as therapeutic

                                                 targets, identified bladder cancer stem cells   and helped improve surgical pathology practice.
